What is an ESA?

ESA stands for Environmentally Significant Area. It is a type of designation for natural area which needs special protection because of its ecological and cultural value.

Do I need to book in advance?

No. Tickets and pre-registration are not required. Admission is completely free and open to the community.

Does it cost anything to attend?

No. Trails Open London are free events, open to all members of the public.

What should I bring with me?

Dress according to the weather. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Don't forget sunblock or a hat, bottled water and a camera.

What locations have activities for kids?

Families and children are encouraged to attend Trails Open London. From facepainting, to enivronmental science demonstrations, there is something for everyone.

What are the hours of admission?

Trails Open London 2017 runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We encourage that you enjoy your day and take photos.

How can I apply to participate in Trails Open London?

Trails Open London participating site applications are accepted in mid- November to mid-December of each year. Please check this website and fill out the application form accordingly.
